Saturday, Dec. 17. Ladies Christmas Fellowship
July LHBC Ladies Fellowship Asian-theme Night -The Lord has been greatly blessing the Ladies fellowship meetings this year. There were 19 in attendance for July’s Asian Night, five of which were first time attendees. Special thanks to all of the ladies who made the evening possible. We made three hundred eggrolls! It was by far the tastiest fellowship yet! We were also blessed with a special time of prayer where heartfelt petitions were laid at the Lord’s feet. Some of which have already been answered. God is so good!
May - BBC Glimpses of God Ladies Seminar. Praise God that, in May, eight of our ladies were able to attend the Glimpses of God ladies seminar in Rhode Island. "With the workshops I've taken this weekend I've learned that He is the Shepherd and we are his sheep," said Carrie. "He sees us. He seeks us and He saves us. The LORD ... has another name which is, Jehovah-Roi, my protector. In Jehovah-Sali: The Lord is my Rock, I learned that I should turn to God for everything and anything.... I also learnd that we are to put God first. He created us for His pleasure." Sister Shina wrote, "the Lord allowed me the opportunity to get to know Him more intimately... Being around fellow ladies that share the same love of God is wonderful and encouraging. What I got out of the Glimpses of God the Ladies Seminar is that God isn't my co-pilot, best friend or buddy; He is number one on my priority list."
Bible Baptist Church Ladies Meeting. Praise God that, on Saturday, March 12, eight LHBC ladies attended the ladies meeting at Bible Baptist Church. Mrs. Harold Davidson gave her testimony of how the LORD brought her through great difficulties to eventually save her and to equip her for spiritual growth. One of our ladies proclaimed that the meeting was "an amazing and awesome experience!" Mrs. Davidson reminded the ladies that “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good” (Prov. 15:3).
