Bible Study & Prayer Meeting
At Long Hill Baptist Church, we believe that prayer is a critical part of the Christian life.
- Wednesday night at 7PM, we meet for our mid-week Bible Study & prayer service;
Praise God that, after Calvary, Christ was bodily resurrected -- and He bodily ascended into Heaven. But the New Testament hardly ends there! The Book of Acts records the sending of the Holy Spirit to indwell believers and to empower us to carry out the great purposes that we find only in Christ. This Wednesday night, we'll continue our very practical study through the Book of Acts. I'm praying that this series will be a great help as we seek the power of the Holy Spirit in our personal lives.
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
