Our Pastor
Rev. Robert W. Hammond, Pastor
Pastor Bob was raised in rural Western New York State. He received Christ as his personal savior at age 10 while attending a Christian summer camp in Little Valley, New York
In 2005, while working in the health communications field, the LORD renewed his desire to attend seminary. Shortly thereafter, he resigned his position as president of a Madison Avenue healthcare advertising agency in order to focus on seminary studies. In 2007, Pastor completed the Master of Biblical Studies program at Emmanuel Baptist Theological Seminary in Newington, CT.
In April 2009, Pastor Bob was ordained to the gospel ministry by Long Hill Baptist Church. On July 12, 2009, our church voted to name him as the church's interim Pastor. And, on January 17, 2010, we voted unanimously to call Pastor Bob as our permanent pastor.
Pastor and his wife, Christine, and son, Zachary, have been attending Long Hill Baptist Church since 1998.
