Bible Study at Long Hill Baptist Church
In additional to our preaching services, we offer a variety of opportunities for people of all ages to learn the Bible, doctrine, and applications for practical Christian living. See more below.
Sunday School - Sundays at 10:00 AM. Classes for children, teens, and adults. Adults and teens are currently studying through Genesis.
Wednesday Night Bible Study- 7:00 PM. We study through books of the Bible in this service. For each class, there’s a handout that explains unfamiliar terms and important insights. And there’s an optional online quiz that helps us to assess our learning. See our recent series in Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah.
Community Bible Study - On Tuesday evenings, we conduct a community Bible study in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport.
Discipleship Program - We offer one-on-one learning opportunities that are designed to help new members gain an understanding of basic doctrines. This provides a strong foundation for ongoing learning.
Bible Conferences. We attend several annual conferences that provide additional learning opportunities:
Spring Lecture Series - Stafford Springs, CT.
Northeast Leadership Conference - Southington, CT
Fall Lecture Series - Stafford Springs, CT
